GreatRugDeal.com started as a simple idea of a way to do things better. Selling furniture isn't a new thing. Selling furniture online and doing it effectively however, is still relatively new. When we started selling furniture in 2007, we new we had to provide great product, ship it timely and provide great customer service. We knew, like in every business there would be challenges, but we weren't sure what would be our biggest challenges. Within a very short period of time, we learned what we had to overcome. We had to overcome the "non-personal touch" of the internet. Customers want to touch and test before they buy a piece of furniture they might own the rest of their lives.

Here is the best part.

We decided to boldly go where nobody had gone before. We decided to great a Virtual Furniture Showroom for our customers. We studied customer habits as they walked the showroom. We timed them, we took notes, we watched their movements and their eyes. After lots of homwork, we began our quest of providing the "Virtual Furniture Showroom" for our customers. We gathered up the film crew and began filming our products and doing exactly what you would do as if you were on the showroom. We answered the most common questions and put it all to film. The result? Hundreds of video products rather than just images.

Products, products, products. We make videos just as quickly as we can. We have tried to create as many product videos as possible but with thousands of products, new & discontinued items, we can't have them all.
