Everything at GreatFurnitureDeal.com ships free!

Standard delivery is curbside only delivery. Common carrier drivers travel alone and may ask for your assistance in unloading the items from the rear of the truck to help prevent any damage to the merchandise. A signature is required to establish proof of delivery, please be sure to count all boxes to verify that you have receieved your entire order prior to signing. Additional delivery fees such as Ferry Fees/Gated Community Fees that are required to access your address will be billed to the consumer when incurred.

Due to the shipping characteristics of some items and varying situations of our customers, we have provided you the option of a white glove freight carrier to deliver your order. White glove carriers are different from common carriers in that they provide the customer with many benefits throughout the delivery process. Once your order arrives in your area, you will be telephoned by a representative from the white glove carrier to arrange a 4 hour window for delivery. Unlike common carriers, a white glove delivery team consists of at least two people so you will not be burdened with helping the driver carrier your order from the back of the truck to your home. The white glove team will handle this for you as well as provide addition services as they are described below.

There are 2 different levels of service that we offer with products that use white glove freight: White Glove Gold and White Glove Platinum. For some products we provide a higher level of base service included in the product price because we know that due to the size and weight it will ensure that your product arrives in good shape. For other products we give you the option to pay extra and upgrade to a higher service level. Below we have detailed what is included with each different level of white glove freight service.

One other important thing to remember about white glove freight is that you MUST inspect the package at the time of delivery. If the product has any damage, or if there is any reason for you to be at all concerned about damage, please write "PRODUCT DAMAGED" clearly on the sheet that they ask you to sign. This simply insures that if there is any damage, it will be easy to take care of the problem. If your package appears even slightly damaged, write "Product Damaged" when you sign for delivery. This will allow us to prove damage to the shipping company. Failure to write this on the delivery ticket may affect your ability to receive a return or replacement.

White Glove Freight Service Levels

White Glove Gold (Additional $89)
Gold service level provides two-man delivery, to inside your residence to the room you choose. This service includes carrying the product up two flights of stairs from the building threshold (4-15 steps = 1 flight). If you need the product moved up additional flights please contact us*. Once the product is in the room you desire, the shipper will unpack the product and provide basic setup that requires no tools (i.e. will set pieces next to each other, or on top of each other). Set up is limited to 15 mintues. The shipper will also remove and dispose of all packaging.

White Glove Platinum (Additional $179)
Platinum service level provides two-man delivery, to inside your residence to the room you choose. This service includes carrying the product up two flights of stairs from the building threshold (4-15 steps = 1 flight). If you need the product moved up additional flights please contact us*. Once the product is in the room you desire, the shipper will unpack the product and provide light setup that requires basic tools (i.e. pieces will be screwed or bolted together, set pieces next to each other, or on top of each other). Assembly is limited to 30 mintues.The shipper will also remove and dispose of all packaging.
 

*In all cases the shipper will not hookup any electrical or component wires. Shipper will not alter a residence in any way (no bolting/attaching to wall, ceiling or floor) Having items carried up more than 25 steps and longer assembly periods are available as additional services which would require additional charges. Please contact us if you feel you need these services.

*Setup services that exceed thirty (30) minutes will be charged at a rate of $80.00 per hour or fraction thereof.  Must be arranged prior to delivery or at time of order by specifying the time of setup you would like to purchase.
